This female luna moth unexpectedly appeared in our lounge today. I suspect it escaped when fully grown, from the batch of larvae I was rearing in 2025 and pupated somewhere in the house.
The other cocoons were stored in a wooden cage outdoors for the winter. They are still outdoors and none have emerged yet. Last night there was a hard frost. I expect it will be some time before they start to emerge.
